Every child's journey is different. We are here
for all of it.
At Balanced Kids Psychology, I take a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach that recognises every child's unique way of thinking, learning and experiencing the world. I work collaboratively with children, families and schools to understand each child's individual profile and provide practical, evidence-based support that promotes confidence, wellbeing and meaningful participation across home, school and community.

Child Therapy
Helping children manage their emotions, behaviours, and experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. Through approaches such as play therapy, cognitive–behavioural strategies, and emotional regulation skill-building, therapy helps children cope with and understand challenges like anxiety, behavioural difficulties, social issues, or family changes. All therapeutic intervention uses a neuroaffirming approach and seeks to educate and empower children and their Carers.

Carer Support
Supporting the Carers of a child by offering guidance, education, and practical strategies to help them better understand and respond to the child’s emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. This may include providing insight into the child’s strengths and challenges, teaching effective behaviour management and communication techniques, and helping Carers create supportive routines at home. All stages of childhood and adolescence brings it's own joys and hurdles at times requiring updated psychoeducation and strategies to support Carers.

A practice built on genuine care and experience.
